Notwithstanding that I would have thought that fairly obvious (unless he'd not recalled just how nosy I am, or was batch-processing requests), it's been some considerable time and there's naught but a single message on the list, the introduction from Erik himself. I applied to join the mediawiki-ng-l mailing list, and got a reply from Erik requesting more information about why I wanted to join.
