Summer of Code
It’s the time of year, now that spring is in the air, for those two wet gits…er, I mean, it’s time for Google Summer of Code again. If I’m going to take part this year, then I need to decide what I’m going to do and submit an application by the end of next Friday.
My schedule at the moment may very well make that impossible…

Go for it! You would be a great SoC participant. They all sound like worthwhile projects, and “Upload form improvements”, “Admin panel” and “Media player” all sound pretty groovy to me - but obviously pick the project that grabs you the most.
And after you’ve done that application, be sure to go here: http://wikimania2007.wikimedia.org/wiki/Scholarships/application and submit your travel scholarship application!
– All the best, Nick.

I have to admit, the inline media project would be a great one to pick up and finish, although I have a slight preference for doing the upload form improvements, too.
I don’t intend to attend Wikimania 2007.
